Loosely based on a true story, the big question surrounding this one is: Is it a noir? The answer, absolutely not. It's a police procedural, and a damn good one at that. Richard Basehart is a thief and murderer on the run in Los Angeles, and the cops are using the latest techniques to track this man down. Fantastic cinematography from John Alton add a real atmosphere. Thanks to Lion Bridge for supplying this radler style refresher that kept us hydrated throughout the tension.
