Bob Clark laid the blueprint for the modern slasher movie with 1974's Black Christmas, a tale of a psycho terrorizing a sorority with prank calls and murder. Before Halloween and When a Stranger Calls there was this one, and it's very, very cool. Great camera work and a fantastic job of creating mood, Clark really hit it with this one.
